The coast appears to have been cleared on the location of the newly established Federal College of Education located in Ilawe Ekiti as the institution is set to kick off on its temporary site along Ilawe-Igede road signalling the end of controversies surrounding the location of the college.
The Alawe Oba Ajibade Alabi Afuntade1 made the revelation yesterday while responding to questions from newsmen in his palace.
The monarch in a categorical statement said; “The temporary site is going to be along Ilawe-Igede road at United High School while the permanent site is going to be along Ilawe-Ikere Road by Oke-Bedo axis. We have massive land on that location earmarked for the school and we are already making progress to make sure that there is seamless take off of the institution” he affirms
Only recently the exact location of the new federal institution has been a subject of controversies between the people of Ilawe and Omuo Ekiti following the announcement of the college in Ekiti south federal constituency
