The Chief Imam, who described Eid fitri as the end of Ramadan fasting for Muslims, opined that the day gives them another opportunity to gather before their maker and pray that Allah should grant their heart desires.

He said it’s another opportunity to get closer to Almighty Allah and pray that Allah grant all their heart desires. He therefore, seized the opportunity to encourage Muslim brothers and sisters to sustain the spirit of the Ramadan which he noted drew them closer to Allah and encouraged them to shun all manners of evil act.
