The Coalition of Communication and New Media team of the Ekiti State House of Assembly has paid glowing tributes to the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Stephen Aribasoye and the Chairman House Committee on Media and Public Affairs Hon. Babatunde Oke on their birthday.
The group in a statement jointly signed by Mr. Muyiwa Falaye and Olasunkanmi Ekundayo on Sunday, reflected on the robust, sacrificial and selfless bond found in the duo’s leaderships describing the two principal officers as; “Not only are you learned and brilliant colleagues at the bar, but you are also a combination of compassionate, insightful, and thoughtful leaders. We couldn’t imagine working with anyone else, for the collaboration you provide is unmatched.”
Disclosing this on Sunday, the group further said “that the duo shares the same birthday means that God himself sent you, specially to Ekiti, His own state that he loves, to put smiles on the faces of his people through the chosen seventh-assembly.
“Ekitikete have been greatly blessed by your legislations and other contributions toward the betterment of the state. You have proved that excellence is about serving the people who elected you.
“You are both great leaders who have impacted positively on the lives of the people. Your virtues of hard work, selflessness and impactful services have endeared you to the people.
“The streams of honour flowing your way is a clear testament of your matchless legislative prowess which you brought to bear in the management of the house. The house is indeed united supporting our dynamic governor for the betterment of the state.
“Since your emergence as the Speaker of the house, we have and still witnessing lots of innovative and novel initiatives in the areas of ICT, which of course earn the Ekiti assembly recognition as the best House of Assembly in Nigeria on ICT integration, including the welfare of the legislative bureaucracy.”
“As the spokesperson of the seventh-assembly, you have not only promote the image of the House better, but curb press speculations on the House activities through effective management of its publicity. The media team has indeed gained a lot from your wealth of legislative experience and selfless service to the state and humanity.
“While praying for your continuous good health and sound minds, we pray that God continues to protect and guide your ways as we wish your Distinguished leaders many more fruitful years,” the statement concluded.
