Appointees of Ekiti State Governor under the aegis of Forum of Directors General on Tuesday held a strategic meeting to synergize for optimal service delivery.
The meeting, which served as the forum’s first official gathering for 2025, is aimed at creating synergy to promote the activities of the Ekiti State government.
In her opening remarks, Coordinator of the Forum and Director General, Bureau of Community Communications, Mrs Mary Oso- Omotosho, said the meeting serves as an avenue to reposition themselves targeted at contributing to the administration’s development agenda.
She seized the opportunity to call on the DGs to actively participate in the day-to-day operations of government for efficient service delivery.
In their separate contributions, the Director General, Bureau of Local Content, Mr. Olalekan Ijidale urged members of the Forum to synergize adding that they were appointed to support the administration and also add value to themselves.
Also speaking at the event, the Director-General of the State Roads Fund (SRF), Mrs Folu Ogunlayi equally reiterated the need for effective communication on the activities of government.
On her part, Director General, Civic Orientation and Citizenship, Mrs Olawumi Famuyiwa emphasized that a formidable Forum of the DGs will pave the way for enhanced performance in the discharge of their duties.
At the end of the meeting, the Forum resolved to work together and hold monthly meetings that will serve as the platform for peer review of issues, policies, and programs.
