OYEBANJI OKAYS DR OLABANJI AS EKSUTH CMD FOR 2ND TERM

The Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanj has approved the appointment of Dr Kayode Olabanji as the Chief Medical Director of Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital Ado Ekiti.

The joyous news was received by the elated staff of the institution as when they received the newly reappointed CMD yesterday.

The staff in their joyful mood sang to welcome the Chief Medical Director and lauded Governor Oyebanji for given him another opportunity to pilot the affairs of the Teaching Hospital for another four years.

Speaking during the reception, Dr Olabanji promised to build on his achievements and seek cooperation of the staff of towards achieving set goals.

In an interview, Chairman, National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives, EKSUTH Chapter, Mrs Comfort Monde, Depty Director Medical Laboratory Service, Mr Femi Adebo and Head of Pharmacy Department, Mr Sola Ojo noted that the appointment of the CMD was a right decision made by Governor Oyebanji, saying Dr Olabanji performed excellently during his first term.

Also, Chairman of Senior Staff Association of the hospital, Mr Thony Arigbede and Chairman Medical and Health workers Union, Mrs Oluwatimilehin Kumuyi said the reappointed CMD gave priority to welfare of workers, hence the need for the rousing reception given to him
