OLUSEYI OLATUNDE RE-ELECTED AS NULGE PRESIDENT FOR SECOND TERM

By a unanimous decision, Comrade Oluseyi Olatunde the incumbent President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Ekiti State, has been reelected for a second term of four years.

His victory was made possible by about two hundred delegates drawn from the sixteen local government areas after his major contender, Mr Dotun Adetuberu stepped down few hours to the exercise.

Other executives who emerged are  Idowu Adejuyigbe, vice president, Cusmas Adebayo, treasurer,  Ajisafe Arinola, women representative, Adesoji Obaleye, Trustee  , Bodunde Taiwo, and Ojo Akinola auditors
Others are Oladipupo Yinka, publicity secretary, welfare officer, Timothy Ojuawo, young workers representative, Ajewole Adedayo.

Olatunde, whose first four years of meritorious service as NULGE President ended with the commissioning of an ulta modern hotel and suite on Monday thanked God for the victory and thanked his members for the confidence reposed in him with a promise to serve them better.

The newly elected President also congratulated other elected executive members and urged them to be ready to work diligently and selflessly in the struggle for the  betterment of council workers.

The National President of the union, Mr Hakeem Ambali had earlier urged Governor Biodun Oyebanji to continue to prioritize welfare of council workers
