NIGER GOVERNOR RAISES CORPS MEMBERS’ BONUS TO N200,000

The Niger State Governor, Umar Bago has decided to pay corps members deployed to the state by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) N200,000 bonus.
Bago gave the approval on Tuesday during the swearing-in ceremony for the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream I corps members at the Niger State NYSC Orientation Camp.
He emphasized that all corps members currently in the orientation camp will each receive a credit of N200,000 before the end of their orientation program to boost their morale and encourage them to stay back in Niger State.
The governor also promised to build a modern orientation camp worth N5 billion that befits the scheme’s core values
