It was another successful outing at Igogo Ekiti on Saturday April 10 as the train of Mr and Mrs Oluwole Fasanmi’s Free Medical and Wellness outreach landed at the sleepy community of Igogo Ekiti in the Moba Local Government Area in continuation of the 2022 edition of ‘For Our Future Foundation’, a non- governmental organization founded by the family.
The event which was hosted by a prominent indigene of the town, Chief Matthew Ogunseye was held at the Igogo Town Hall venue of the medical outreach which played oust to people from Igogo community as well as adjoining towns like Erinmope, Isaoye, Ikun and other neighbouring communities.
As early as 8.00, the town hall was besieged by a large number of residents who filed in to register their names and properly accredited and by 10.00 am the medical team comprises of doctors, nurses ophthalmologists and pharmacists who attended to the patients.
The royal father of the town, HRM, Oba Sunday Adewumi in company with his adorable Olori and some of his chiefs also graced the occasion and benefitted from the medical outreach.
Kabiyesi in a chat with our correspondent expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the event saying; “: I want to thank the organizers of ‘For Our Future Foundation’ and the entire Oluwole Fasanmi family for this yet another landmark event. They’ve done seriously well for this community. This is the second time they would initiate their free medical services in Igogo community and you can see how people received them as so many people trooped in from not only Igogo, but various communities to come and enjoy their medical services and free medication. They didn’t pay a dime for examination, medication and glasses.
This is a monumental philanthropic service by private individuals who took it upon themselves to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged in the society and I wish them well’’.
