EKITI AMOTEKUN HAILS OYEBANJI OVER PROMPT PAYMENT OF SALARY…. AS CORPS MEMBERS NOW EARN N30,000

Operatives of the Western Nigerian Security Network popularly called Amotekun in Ekiti are now to earn minimum wage of N30,000 in an upward review of the initial N20,000.

Brigadier General Joe Komolafe, the commander of the security outfit made the disclosure at an interactive section with newsmen on Tuesday in Ado Ekiti.
The retired army General expressed appreciation to the Governor of Ekiti State Biodun Oyebanji for the kind gesture.

“I want to use this occasion to express my profound appreciation to our listening Governor who has deemed it fit to upwardly review my officers monthly stipends from N20,000 to N30,000. This is a welcome development and well appreciated by the entire operatives under my watch. I want to say Mr governor’s kind gesture was a morale booster for my operatives to keep the state safe from all forms of crimes and criminality because to whom much is given, more is expected”
He noted that since the inception of Oyebanj’s administration the monthly stipends of the security operatives have been paid as and at when due same time with the state’s civil servants
