EID-KABIR: AJONI LG BOSS CONGRATULATES MUSLIMS, ENJOINS FAITHFUL TO PRAY FOR PEACE, UNITY OF NIGERIA

Reflecting on the mood of Sallah festivities, the Chairman of Ajoni Local Council Development Authority Prince Micheal Ogungbemi has urged Muslims in EKiti state to pray for the unity, peace and progress of the country.

The Council boss, in a Sallah message, enjoined Muslim Umar to emulate Prophet Ibrahim’s obedience to the Almighty Allah, by making sacrifices towards the development and growth of Nigeria.

He noted that the prosperity of EKiti state was a joint task, calling on all citizens to remain united in the face of challenges.

Ogungbemi added that the period is also a time to pray for the success of the nation’s leaders, as they move to tackle the challenges confronting the society

The Council boss in a related development, congratulated Muslim in Ajoni community on the celebration and promised to continue to champion religion harmony to ensure all round development of the town
