A new drama was introduced to the controversies surrounding the 16-year-old Ejikeme Mmesoma accused of faking her UTME result as she was offered full scholarship to study in the United Kingdom United States of America (USA) or Canada.
This is, as the House of Representatives yesterday, ordered the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB to stay action on the alleged result saga pending a full investigation on the matter.
But an Igbo businessman/philanthropist, Gaius Chibueze, also known as Bitcoin Chief has offered her the juicy scholarship.
Announcing the offer on Twitter, Gaius said his team would ensure they get her admission from any institution in the countries mentioned above.
He added that his company will take full responsibility of funding Miss Mmesoma Ejikeme‘s education up to the level of a Master’s degree.
The 16 year-old Anambra student came to the limelight on the claim that she scored the highest marks in the 2023 UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination) with a remarkable score of 362.
This achievement garnered praise and admiration from Nigerians, including a generous 3 million Naira scholarship offer from Chief Innocent Chukwuma, the founder of Innoson Vehicle Motors.
However, the situation took a new twist when JAMB issued a disclaimer, distancing itself from Miss Mmesoma’s purported result.
JAMB accused the young Nnewi native of forgery and threatened to revoke her original score of 249, imposing a three-year ban on her future participation in the UTME.
Amidst the turmoil, Gaius Chibueze, an American-based businessman and philanthropist renowned for his involvement in Bitcoin, expressed his support for Miss Mmesoma Ejikeme through a Twitter announcement.
He revealed that his company would cover the expenses of Ms. Mmesoma’s education, ensuring her journey up to the attainment of a Master’s degree.
“I and our company @VoiceOfTheEast are ready to offer Miss Joy Mmesoma a 100% scholarship to study in the UK, Canada or the United States of America.”
“Our team will work with her to get admission From any university of her choice in any of the above 3 countries.”

“We are calling on @JAMBHQ to desist from such unprofessional behavior.”
