Another feather was added to the cap of Ilawe Ekiti–born seasoned Police Chief DIG Silvester Abiodun Alabi as he was appointed by the Police Service Commission, PSC, to head the Force Criminal Investigation Department, FCID.
Newly promoted DIG Alabi assignment to that sensitive unit of the force by the Commission may not be unconnected with his track records which sources revealed is unparalleled.
According to a source, Alabi, in his over 33 years in the force has not only proven his disciplinary credibility, uncompromising stance, but his prowess in investigations are never in doubt.
