Muslims in Ekiti State have joined their counterparts in Nigeria to mourn the demise of one of their leaders, Prince Abdul Jabbar Bola Ajibola who died at the ripe age of 89.
Alhaji Hammed Afolabi Bakare, FCA, President, Ekiti State Chapter, Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs NSCIA, in a condolence message described the deceased as an icon who gave his best to his country and particularly for the unity and propagation of Islam.
The statement reads; “The late Ajibola laid good legacies which cannot be easily forgotten in Nigeria
“On behalf of entire muslims in Ekiti state, we commiserate with our MUSWEN President and the family of late Baba Abdul Jabbar Bola Ajibola, the Chairman BOT of Muswen who died at ripe age of 89.
“The good foundation laid by him for Muslim Umah in Nigeria and South West in particular can never be forgotten.
“We prayed that Allah will forgive Baba all his sins and admit him into Aljanat firdaus.
“Our condolence message to all the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and the immediate family of Justice Bola Ajibola. May Allah guide and protect the family left behind” the statement reads
