Renowned polyglot and media impresario, Chief Bisi Olatilo yesterday, poured encomiums on the Governor of Ekiti State Mr Biodun Oyebanji on what he described as the Governor’s impeccable achievements in just two years in office touching on infrastructure, welfare of citizens and good governance. He noted that the Governor has not borrowed a penny to carry out his laudable programs to Ekiti people.
The CEO of popular Bisi Olatilo Show stated this on Saturday in Lagos while presenting the Governor with the prestigious award of Outstanding Promoter of African Heritage during the 25th Goge Africa celebration.
“You’ve done well as Governor of Ekiti State who recently marked your second year in office and I’m proud of your achievements as a keen watcher of your laudable achievements without borrowing a kobo. This is commendable” he added.
Receiving the award on behalf of the Governor, Amb. Wale Ojo-Lanre DG Bureau of Touurism Development accompanied by a retinue of top officials of the Bureau and entertainers from Ekiti cultural troupe thanked the organizers of Goge Africa for deeming it fit to pick Governor Oyebanji out of the 36 states for the prestigious award in recognition of his giant strides in promoting culture and tourism.
He lauded the initiative of both Nneka and Isaac Moses for “repositioning, re-energizing and promoting Nigeria’s culture and tourism since the past 25 years and still counting noting that the award was a pointer to the recognition of Governor Oyebanji’s landmark achievements as a leading promoter of culture and tourism by a globally respected organisation as Goge Africa.
