Tragedy struck on Monday in Erinjiyan Ekiti in Ekiti West Local Governent Area as a JSS 2 Student of Erinjinyan Community High School was reportedly shot dead by his friend.
Details of the sad incident was sketchy as at the time of filing this report.
But eye witness account says the father of the suspect, a palace hunter kept his local gun at home and the two young boys went ahead to carry the gun.
They were allegedly testing the gun to confirm the efficacy of a bullet proof charm.
Meanwhile, the suspect and his father have both been arrested and detained at Aramoko Divisional Police while the corpse of the victim had been deposited in the Morgue in an undisclosed Hospital.
Efforts to get the police angle proofed abortive as the spokesperson for Ekiti state police command, Mr Sunday Abutu failed to pick his calls.
