The Ekiti State Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC, has distanced itself from a trending rumour making the rounds that it’s current Chairman, Pastor Daramola Owoola has been removed.
The party in a terse statement made available to our correspondent on Monday debunked the alleged removal. The statement reads:
“This is to publicly denounce the faceless and fraudulent claim by some mischievous individuals on the removal of the Ekiti State IPAC Chairman Pastor Daramola Owoola
“We write to vehemently disclaim the dastardly act of calumny and gross misconducts trending on the media space claiming the removal of Past. Daramola Owoola as the Ekiti State IPAC Chairman by some fraudulent and desperate individuals.
“We hereby urge the member of the public to discountenance such unscrupulous claim meant to mislead the good people of EKiti State sponsored by some miscreants to distabilize Ekiti State IPAC.
“We advise everyone to desist from relating with this group of faceless individuals as any transaction engaged with them is at the risk of such persons and we are not in anyway drafted into such dealings.
“Finally, we reiterate that EKITI STATE IPAC is peaceful and committed to delivering it’s statutory duties to the general public. All courtesies accorded are high appreciated and all security agencies have been notified”
