In what suggests a vote of confidence in the leadership of the chairman of Eso-Obe LCDA, Ikoro Ekiti, Hon. Kole Ayeni, stakeholders in the community have applauded the council boss for representing Governor Biodun Oyebanji well in the council area.
The commendation came at the weekend during the distribution of bags of rice as palliatives to the people of the ancient town.
Speaking at the occasion held at the Council Secretariat, Hon. Ayeni told the gathering that the gesture was at the instance of the State Governor to cushion the effect of high cost of living especially food crisis in the country.
In a chat with our correspondent, the council boss said; “I want to seize this opportunity to express my gratitude to the Governor of Ekiti State Mr Biodun Oyebanji for placing the welfare of the people at his heart through various interventions to cushion the effect of hardship in the country especially rising cost of food items in the country which gave rise to these palliatives we are distributing today”
He listed beneficiaries of the rice palliatives to include; Olukoro-in- Council, Ogbon- in- council, Oberekedo- in- council, ikoro progressive Association (IPA), Major Stakeholders in the town as well as the vulnerables.
