Few days to the annual Idel -kabir festival and to increase patronage for local livestock dealers, the governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has directed bulk purchase of rams from Sheep and Goats Sellers Association in the state.

The Governor in his characteristic manner of spending Ekiti money in Ekiti to grow the economy, has mandated the State’s Sallah Committee led by the SSG, Alhaja Adubiaro, to purchase all the rams to be distributed by Government from Sheep and Goat Sellers Association in the state.
The Governor gave the instruction that the transaction must be direct purchase from them without any middleman so the sellers can make good profit .
In a reaction, the excited members of the association who were overwhelmed by the governor’s good gesture showed their appreciation with a gift of one their biggest rams to the number one citizen of the state yesterday.
