Governor Biodun Oyebanji has made another remarkable stride in education in a bid to revamp technical education and reduce unemployment in the state.
This followed the recruitment of 75 senior officers and 56 junior officers to fill vacancies in Ekiti State’s technical colleges.
The newly recruited staff participated in a 3-day induction and training program, which started on Wednesday 25th September and ended on Friday 27th September ensuring they are well-equipped to contribute to the state’s educational needs and growth.
Not only has this initiative strengthened the education sector, but it has also provided these newly recruited young professionals with sustainable livelihoods and career fulfillment.
This very effort by Governor Oyebanji is a boost for technical education in the State as it will empower the technical colleges to truly prepare students to be gainfully employed or self employed with requisite skills as an artisan , tradespersons or technicians.
