The Governor of Ekiti State Biodun Oyebanji has raised the bar of governance in the state by his all inclusive welfarist programmes to different strata in the society.
The Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Communications Mrs Mary Oso-Omotosho stated this while responding to questions as a guest of a popular TV program’Arayin Niwa’monitored by our correspondent yesterday.
According to the Governor’s aide, Oyebanji has provided succour to the different categories of People Living with Disabilities in the state since the inception of his administration.
Highlighting some of the Governor’s efforts at making life better for the PWD in Ekiti, Omotosho said:
“Governor Oyebanji has put the welfare of People Living with Disabilities uppermost in his heart since the inception of his administration by providing automatic employment for some of them including six language interpreters & 3 physically challenged. This is aside the few recruited by SUBEB and sponsorship of few who were picked for a special training in Lagos , vocational training by the Federal Government facilitated by Mr Governor and in addition to Mr Governor’s regular personal donations to all the special schools and still counting” she said
