OYEBANJI APPOINTS ENGR. MRS ADEBAYO AS S/W COREN COUNCIL MEMBER

The Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji has approved the appointment of Engr. Folasade Adebayo as Member representing the South west geo-political zone in the nation’s apex engineering body, Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, (COREN).

The new appointment was contained in a letter by the COREN Registrar, Engr. Prof. Adisa Ademola Bello, in Abuja.

The 3 year’s tenure statutory appointment took effect from July 2, 2024.

Engr. Folasade Adebayo holds an enviable record of first female Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers in Ekiti State and Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Civil Engineers.
She was the past Chairman of the Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria APWEN and currently a Deputy Director, Works and Sevices, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, FUOYE.

She has served the Nigerian Society of Engineers NSE in various capacities.

Mrs. Adebayo, a Princess from Epe-Ekiti, in Ijero Local Government area of Ekiti State will represent interests of Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Ekiti States at the COREN Council.
