A professor of Agriculture in the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Prof Taiwo Ejiola Mafimisebi, will be speaking today Thursday October 5, 2023, at a symposium/ career talk organised for Ijan-Ekiti youths as part of the activities commemorating the first year coronation anniversary of the Onijan of Ijan-Ekiti, Oba Lawrence Adebanji Aladesuyi.
At the event scheduled to hold at Ijan-Ekiti Town Hall at 10am, Prof Mafimidiwo will be talking on ‘Moving Ijan-Ekiti Towards Sustainable Socio- economic Development: An Agendum.’
According to a press release by Mr Folarin Oderinde Osatuyi on behalf of the Anniversary Events Committee, an expert in career counselling, Olu Adeleye, of the Counselling Association of Nigeria (CASSON HERO), will be talking at the event to educate the youth on ‘The Basic Foundation of Career Choice’ to guide them in career choice in the world economy led by private enterprises.
Other panellists are: Mr. Alphonsus Bisi Ige, Ijan-Ekiti Chief Imam, Alhaji Ahmed Akingbade; Mr. ‘Soji Sunday Agbelusi and Mr. ‘Yinka Pereao.
