HRM Oba (Barrister) Sunday Olusola Adewumi JP, the Onigogo of Igogo Ekiti in Ero LCDA has extended his new year goodwill message to his subjects and the entire people of Ekiti State.
The monarch, in a statement also congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State Mr Biodun Oyebanji on his announcement as the Silverbird Man of the year winner at the weekend.
According to him; “With deep sense of gratitude to God, I rejoice with sons and daughters of Igogo community and the entire Ekiti kete for being alive to successfully cross over to 2025 in peace and tranquility.
“Despite the challenges faced by the people in the outgone year, it is pertinent to note that our people have survived the storm with renewed determination that the new year will usher in fresh hope and confidence as government of Ekiti has been trying to make life easier for the citizenry through the various interventions it has put in place to alleviate the burdens.
“It is my fervent hope and prayer that the new year will bring a turn around in bountiful harvest and buoyant economy in the state”. He said.
In a related development, the royal father has felicitated Governor Oyebanji on his award as Man of the Year by Silverbird Television.
