In his Christmas message to the people of Ekiti State and his community, Ipoti Ekiti, the royal father of the town, HRM, Oba James Oladipupo Kolade, the Olupoti of Ipoti Ekiti has prayed for continued peace and progress for Ekiti kete as he enjoined all Christian faithful to maintain brotherly love as preached by the Lord Jesus Christ.
He gave the charge in a statement he personally signed and made available to our correspondent on Wednesday.
According to the monarch: “I felicitate all Ekiti kete and residents on this auspicious occasion of Christmas signalling the birth of Jesus Christ. I pray for continued peace and progress of our dear state which has been on steady growth in the life of the present administration led by our amiable Governor Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji
“I equally appeal to all and sundry to celebrate the yuletide festivities in moderation and contentment in the midst of the current economic realities while prayerfully looking forward to a better tomorrow” he said.
Similarly, Oba Kolade thanked the people of Ipoti for their support and spirit of oneness and cooperation to the royal stool since he mounted the throne of his forefathers.
“I hereby expressed my sincere appreciation to my people for their support, cooperation and spirit of oneness that has brought tremendous progress to the community. I wish that the brotherly love continues as we celebrate the yuletide season”. He concluded.
