OLONIYO SEEKS COLLABORATION WITH FEDERAL MORTGAGE BANK FOR EKITI PEOPLE

The Special Adviser to Ekiti State Governor on Bureau Of Housing and Mortgage Development, Dr. Gboyega Oloniyo, has sought for the cooperation of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria on the creation of new towns in Ekiti State.

Dr. Oloniyo made this known while paying an official visit to the state office of the Federal Mortgage Bank in Ado Ekiti today.

He noted that there was need for the duo of the state government and Federal Mortgage Bank to come together and strategize for Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji led administration’s vision on housing come to fruition.

In his response, the State Manager of the Federal Mortgage Bank in Ekiti State, Mr. Kayode Eluyinka, while praising Governor Oyebanji for working round the clock to make things better for Ekiti people, revealed that the Governor has paid 85% of backlog of outstanding debt inherited within the short period of time he assumed office.

He expressly said that the state government can leverage on the track record that governor Oyebanji is setting for the state before the bank.

While looking forward to receive the Bureau Of Housing’s Proposal for the creation of new Housing Estates in the state, the state Manager said that the door of the Mortgage Bank is always open for visionary administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
