The Ekiti State Chapter of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE displayed glitz and glamour at the Ekiti Parapo pavilion venue of the 2023 Workers’ Day celebration.
NULGE members across the State who came out in their large numbers were the cynosure of all eyes especially with their all black and yellow outfit.
NULGE President, Comrade Oluseyi Olatunde in a chat with journalists congratulates all local government workers in the state for witnessing this year’s May Day celebration.
The chairman also felicitated members of the SAC and SEC of the Union for the grace of God that sustained their lives to witness the special day set aside to acknowledge the contributions of workers in the society.
Comrade Olatunde confirmed that the contributions and impact of local government workers to the sustainability of Ekiti economy cannot be overemphasized noting that local government workers as the closest to the grassroots, have played a pivotal role in the implementation of government policies and programmes just as he promised that his administration will continue to do everything possible to make case for his people without compromise.
Olatunde called on council workers to remain committed and resolute in their support for his government.
The NULGE president appreciated the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji for all his welfare packages for workers urging him to continue in such direction
