A 35 year-old man has been apprehended by the Amotekun Operatives, Efon Alaaye Local Government Command on Thursday 27th February, 2025.
According to a press statement signed by Officer Adeleye Abiodun, Head Communication department, the 35-year-old lbadan-born Oladiran Abiodun, who resides in Efon-Ekiti.
was allegedly caught defrauding people for National Identication Number NIN registration, after parading himself as an NIN Official, adding that, he has been deceptively collecting a huge amount of money from unsuspecting members of the public through NIN registration, both in lbadan and Ekiti State, before he eventually met his waterloo following his arrest on Thursday this week.
The suspect has been handed over to Efon Alaaye Police Division in Efon-Ekiti for further investigation and necessary action.
