World renowned philanthropic organization, Lions Club District 404-B, is presently holding its convention in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State Capital.
Tagged EKITI KETE 2024, the Program of the 4-day event which commenced on Thursday, February 15, 2024 kick-started with courtesy calls to the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, the Ewi’s Palace and Afe Babalola University ABUAD.
This follows a press conference at the Fountain Hotels and rounded up with light refreshment at the same venue.
On Friday February 16, guests arrive for registration from 8am and observe a parade between 6am to 10am. Between 10.30am to 12.30pm the club will hold the first Plenary Session after which the session goes for the lunch break.
By 1.40 to 2.00pm would be time for Juma’at Break. Training seminar follows immediately at the same venue Fountain Hotels.
There would be Sports competition to be held at Kayode Oluyemi stadium. Time: 4.00 to 6.00pm while Cultural Night closes Friday’s activities between 7.00 and 10.00pm.
Saturday’s February 17 event will feature Women Membership Development Program 8am-9pm and closing with second Plenary Session between 9.am to 11.00am. GAT Meeting holds for the afternoon session.
Session resumes for 3rd Cabinet Meeting 2-5pm and closes for a banquet between 7-10.00pm.
On Sunday February 18 the convention closes as members begin departure from Fountain Hotels venue of the event.
