The State headquarters of WNSN popularly known as Amotekun along Old Iyin road still wore a sombre look barely one week after the security outfit lost two of its men to a deadly armed robbery attack in Ikere
The Corp Commander Gen. Adewa was not on seat at the time of visit as he was said to be on duty tour of locations around town.
However, some of the officers wore a mournful look reflecting the mood of losing their colleagues while on duty.
Dare devil armed robbers numbering about 20 last week, invaded Ikere in broad daylight entering from Ise-ikere Road and successfully robbed two banks in the town.
They allegedly open fired on unarmed two Amotekun Operatives in their office along Ise road during the operation.
The two victims identified as Officers Olajide Adebayo and Asana Ojo were shot dead by the men of the underworld who escaped through Ijan road from Ikere.
