The Hike Ekiti Mountain Easter Tourism Carnival powered by the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development and Discover Ekiti Tourism Club has received a big boost in media support.
This is, as the General Manager, of Midas FM Radio Station, Mr Ayobami Olugbenga Wyse accompanied by Mr Sola Odunlade paid a business courtesy visit to the Director-General, Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development, Barrister Wale Ojo- Lanre at the Governor’s office Ado Ekiti.
Barrister Ojo-Lanre commended the Management of the rave making Midas FM Radio Station, for taking a proactive step towards strengthening and lubricating positive partnerships and networking for productive business relationships and its commitment to promoting tourism in Ekiti State.
As the first radio station in the state to provide a 24-hour broadcasting service, Midas FM Radio Station recognizes the significance of establishing strong partnerships within the community.
According to Mr Wyse, Midas FM Radio Station aimed to actively contribute to the development and growth of the tourism sector in Ekiti State.
During the visit, the Midas FM Radio Station management team engaged in fruitful discussions with officials from the Bureau of Tourism Development, Ekiti State as both parties expressed mutual interest in promoting tourism activities within the state.
Recognizing the importance of collaboration, the radio station pledged to partner with the Bureau on the upcoming Hike Ekiti Mountain Easter Tourism Carnival scheduled for April 1st, 2024, on Easter Monday.
The cooperation between Midas FM Radio Station and the Bureau of Tourism Development, Ekiti State, will catalyze generating awareness about Ekiti State’s rich tourism heritage and offerings.
