Members of the Nigerian Governors Forum, NGF, are currently holding their monthly meeting at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja.
The meeting also involves traditional rulers under the auspices of National Council of Traditional Rulers.
Although the meeting is holding behind closed doors, the agenda for the meeting is still shrouded in secrecy. However, there are insinuations that the governors may be discussing the dire economic situations across the country.
The governors may be trying to get feedback from the traditional rulers and put together policies that will assuage the prevailing situation in the country.
Among those sighted at the meeting are the chairman of NGF, AbdulRahman AbdulRazak (Kwara); Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta); Dapo Abiodun, (Ogun); Seyi Makinde (Oyo); Agbu Kefas (Taraba); Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe), and Uba Sani (Kaduna).
The prominent traditional rulers include Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III; Oni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi and Etsu Nupe, Yahaya Abubakar, among others
