The Executive Chairman of Ado Central LCDA Engr. Toyin Ojo has put smiles on the faces of people in his council area as he donated gifts to the needies to mark 2024 Valentine Day.
He urged his constituents to imbibe the lessons of sacrifice, love and giving as demonstrated by St. Valentine many centuries ago saying there can not be any time than now to show love to one another.
He stated this while playing host to a group -Touch and Save Life Movement TSLM led by team leader Mr Bankole in his office.
The Council boss noted that the real essence of valentine Day is to love one another by sharing a token of our material resources with our neigbours thereby helping humanity.
“I think the lessons of Valentine Day should not be lost to frivolous things and immorality but rather it should be an occasion to be our brothers keepers. This we can do by sharing our possessions with friends and neighbours so that together we can stay happy” he said.
Engr Ojo who dedicated this year’s celebration to Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s selfless service to the people of Ekiti said the Governor has laid a solid foundation for progress and shared prosperity.
At Ijigbo, Irona, Elite, and king’s Market, a crowd of enthusiastic residents who benefitted from the branded gift items expressed appreciation to the council boss for remembering them in time like this.
