EKSG LAUNCHES MASS TRANSIT SCHEME FOR WORKERS, SECONDARY SCHOOLS, ROLLS OUT BUS ROUTES IN ADO

In a bid to alleviate the burden of subsidy removal on the people of Ekiti State, the Permanent Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD), Mr James Owolabi has announced the launching of the Ekiti State Civil Service Mass Transit Scheme, approved by the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji.

In a press statement signed by the Press Officer, Office of the HOS, Femi Bamisaye, the statement says the scheme came as a relief to alleviate the impact of high transportation costs caused by the removal of petrol subsidy by the Federal Government.

He added that the operation of the scheme will commence with Public Servants and later extend to include Public Secondary School Students upon resumption from the long vacation.

KEY POINTS TO NOTE:
➡️ Free of Charge: This Mass Transit Scheme is entirely free for all eligible Civil Servants and Public Secondary School Students.

➡️ Route Details: The scheme will operate on four routes, covering essential areas across the state with Ado as the first target.

➡️ Carry Your ID: To avail this fantastic opportunity, all Public Servants are required to carry their Office Identification cards.

ROUTES AND BUS STOPS:
♻️ Route 1: from David Oke Model College; Atlass Motel; Ajebamidele; Ologede Police Station; Tosin Aluko Garage; Mobil-Ajilosun; Nepa; Ministry of works; Ijigbo Round About; Sadiat Hotel Junction; Baptist College; NTA Road to the State Secretariat.

♻️ Route 2: from Erinfun; to NNPC; Ado Grammar School; Ijigbo Junction; Ojumose; Fajuyi; Moremi Bus Stop to the State Secretariat.

♻️ Route 3: from Ilokun to BSES; Pathfinder Hotel; Car wash; Housing Junction; Dalimore Junction, Fajuyi; Moremi Bus Stop to the Secretariat.

♻️ Route 4: from Faglo Filling Station to Better Life; Local Government Service Commission; Nova Junction; Alade Filling Station; Awedele to the Secretariat.
