In a rare show of love and appreciation of the giant strides of Governor Biodun Oyebanji, an illustrious son of the State has supported the administration in his private capacity.
In a statement from the Office of Special Adviser to the Governor on Community Communications, Mrs Mary Oso-Omotosho and made available to EKITI STANDARD at the weekend, the governor’s aid stated that; “It was soothing to know that well – meaning Ekiti sons and daughters are displaying high level of readiness to support the Governor Biodun Oyebanji led administration.
According to her, “At the maiden engagement that Community Communications office had with Ado Ekiti landlords associations recently , we made them understand that the State Government needed all the support it could get in meeting some of the community needs especially in the area of infrastructure .
“Few weeks later , we got a call from an industrious son of Ekiti who was impressed by Governor Oyebanji’s efforts so far and decided to support the Governor by constructing a 600 meter road with drainages in one of the communities in Ado and also installed 382 solar street lights in 5 different communities in Ado Ekiti. The road will be asphalted” she said
Omotosho who went on inspection to the site expressed shock at what shee met on ground
“This has clearly indicated that Governor Oyebanji gives all Ekiti home and abroad a sense of belonging in his government” she added.
