EKITI ASSEMBLY CONDOLES WITH DEPUTY GOVERNOR ON THE PASSING OF HER MOTHER

The Ekiti State House of Assembly has extended its heartfelt condolences to the Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Her Excellency Chief Monisade Afuye, on the passing of her beloved mother, Olori Esther Iyalaje Adegboye, who died early Tuesday.

In a statement issued by the media spokesperson of the House, Hon. Babatunde Oke, he expressed the empathy of the House to the committed Deputy Governor, stating, “The Assembly was saddened to learn of the passing of Olori Esther Iyalaje Adegboye, the cherished mother of the Deputy Governor of Ekiti State.

“Testimonies about her charity and love for all will be remembered by those who benefited from her milk of humanitarianism.”

The state legislature emphasized that the late Olori Esther Iyalaje Adegboye’s values were evident in the God-fearing and accomplished leader she raised, noting her qualities as a disciplinarian and firm believer in God.

The statement encouraged the family to find strength in their faith, reminding them of the Christian teaching to accept the will of God, adding that Olori Esther’s legacy will remain immortalized in the hearts of those who cherished her dedication to humanity.

“On behalf of the Assembly, under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye, and the people of our various constituencies, I extend our heartfelt condolences to Your Excellency, your family, and the people of Ikere Ekiti. May God grant her soul eternal peace and give you the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” Oke concluded.
