Nemesis has caught up with a suspected burglar, (names witheld) on Sunday at Olorunsogo area in Ado-Ekiti who was caught and paraded by an operative of Ekiti Amotekun corps.
The suspect was alleged to have broken into the resident of a dead couple in the area knowing that the house had been deserted since the death of the owners of the building.
According to the credible source from the state security outfit, the couples who recently got married suffered a major tragedy when the wife suddenly died.
Unable to cope with life after the loss, the husband also fell ill and died few months after a situation that led the family to take custody of the kids while leaving the house desolate.
However, report says, the suspect who got wind of the story behind the empty apartment started looting the house by forcefully breaking the door and carting away their property.
Luck run after him through the eagle eyes of neighbours who caught him during one of his operations in the apartment and immediately alerted the Amotekun office and the suspect was subsequently arrested.
He’s presently cooling off at the office of Ekiti State RRS for further investigations.
