EKITI AMOTEKUN NAB MAN, 50 FOR ALLEGED IN BURGLARY IN EFON

Nemesis has caught up with a 5O year-old man simply identified as Ojo Oluwafemi on Tuesday November 26, 2024 when he was arrested by operatives of South West Security Network (Amotekun) for alledged burglary.

The suspect, who is a resident and indigene of Efon Alaaye Local Government, Ekiti State was said to be a night guard in the area.

According to a press statement signed by Officer Adeleye Adewale, Head Communication Department, the suspect was caught red-handed for his involvement in the burglary of four (4) shops at ldagba Roundabout in Efon Local Government.

During interrogation with the operatives, he confessed his involvement in the crime, saying that, he always operates between 4:00 a.m and 5:00 a.m after which, he will return home with all the stolen items for his own and family use.
He was subsequently arrested by the Amotekun Officers in Efon Alaaye Local Government Command and handed over to the Efon-Alaaye Divisional Police headquarters, with all the exhibits recovered from him, for further investigation.
