EEC DAY 3: YEMISI AKIN-BABALOLA GRILLS PARTICIPANTS ON FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SKILLS

As the ongoing Ekiti Enterprise Challenge EEC, aimed at empowering young Ekiti entrepreneurs hots up for tomorrow’s grand finale, a resource person and Head of Business Assurance (Internal Audit) Ekiti State Revenue Service, Mrs. Yemisi Akin-Babalola engaged the 15 young aspiring Ekiti youths shortlisted for the prize money to an indepth incisive training on the topic: Financial Management Skills for Emerging Entrepreneurs.

She lectured the participants on how effective financial management was central to their business growth, understand how cash flow works and how to keep important financial records and manage banking relationship amongst others.
Recalled that the Ekiti Enterprise Challenge is an initiative of the Iworoko-born Engr. Dare Ojo aimed at identifying businesses in Ekiti State owned by Ekiti indigenes that are doing well but who needs some financial support, trainings and network.


The week long boot camp will end tomorrow Saturday January 26 during the grand finale where three lucky winners would emerge with the star prize of N1.5m
