In a rare show of spreading love on her special day, the Chairman, Ado North LCDA, Hon. Olatokunbo Gbadamosi has celebrated her birthday with orphans, and the special children yesterday, showcasing compassion and affection to the vulnerable.
This, as Hon. Gbadamosi paid a courtesy visit to Orphanage and Elderly Home at Onala and Onaopemipo Centre for Children and Youths with Disabilities Centre, Iwaro, Afao Rd, Ado Ekiti respectively.
During the visit, the council boss distributed gift items made cash donations in support of the humanitarian institutions.
“My birthday is incomplete without giving back to the needy. I am committed in intensifying, efforts towards uplifting our vulnerable population”. She declared
Responding, Mr. Ojo Olumide and Mrs. Mojisola Ogunleye, proprietors of the two institutions, expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the kind gesture and the heart of giving, compassion and kindness exhibited by the celebrant.
They made requests for further assistance, which the Chairman, promised to take into consideration.
Hon. Gbadamosi, was escorted on the mission by her counterpart from Ado Central LCDA, Hon. Eng. Toyin Ojo, who in solidarity with the Chairman, made financial donation to the Orphanage.
Also, on the entourage, were the APC Chairman, Ado LG Hon. Mike Akinleye and the Director, Ekiti State Peace Corps, Chief Dele Owoju, who also made donations to support the council chairman.
Joining the Ado North Boss from the Local Council management team, were the Vice Chairman, Hon. Kolade Ogunsakin, the SLC, Mrs Olubumi Abiodun, the HLA, Mr. Segun Olabiyi, HLA, the SA, Mrs Modupe Fatimehin, all the Directors and personal aids of the Chairman, making the event a memorable one.
