Responding to the current hardship in the country as hunger and starvation is biting hard on the common people, the South West Zonal Ex -Officio of the People’s Democratic Party in Ekiti Central Senatorial District, Hon Mrs Lanre Fayuji has extended her heart of kindness to widows in the state by providing succour and food materials to them to cushion the effect of the economic hardship currently ravaging the country.
In her address, the woman leader noted that she took the painstaking efforts of reaching out to the widows within her capacity as a result of the situation in the country.
According to her; “It would be an understatement for anyone to say the country is hard, Everybody is taking breakfast from the federal government. We are praying to God for divine intervention in the land.
“There is hardship and economic crisis everywhere in the country and it is glaring enough for everyone to see”
Mrs Fajuyi however stated that, instead of joining the people to complain she has decided to reach out in her own little way which definitely is going to go a long way in mitigating the challenges posed by the unprecedented hardship in the land.
