CCM MARKS 25 YEARS OF IMPACTFUL, SELFLESS SERVICE TO HUMANITY IN GRAND STYLE

All roads led to No. 53, Academy Street, Poughkeepsie, New York venue of the Impact Award Night, a gala event organized to mark the 25th anniversary of Comfort Children Ministry International incorporation (CCM) on June 15 2024.

Founded a quarter of century ago by an Afro American humanist and philanthropist, Revd. Cynthia James, the non governmental, non-profit organization provided a veritable outreach for the poor and vulnerable children across the globe providing succour and basic needs of life to them.
The Ministry has a good presence and active in Asia, africa, the Middle East and America preaching the gospel of love and hope to the less privileged in the society.

However this year silver jubilee celebration came with a wide range of activities such as live entertainment, light refreshment and culinary session, auction and raffle draw.

One of the high points of the memorable event was the honor award to 25 individuals that cuts across Catholic Charities, Cross Assembly and United Way of Dutchess, Orange Region all of whom comprises of donours and volunteers.
Among dignitaries that graced the occasion included the Mayor of Newburgh, Torrence Harvey who was the Special Guest of honor.
Others are: Dr Mary McLemore, a new donor, CCM Southern Co-ordinator, New Identity Ministries, Inkmayspeak Inc. and H2H organization, Poughkeepsie to mention a few.
