Two undergraduate students of Ekiti State University EKSU, reportedly lost their lives this afternoon at Ikun-Ekiti while swimming inside the popular Ikun dam.
The deceased, Oluwatobiloba Osho and Oladimeji Victor from Theatre Arts Department of the University according to eyewitness account, joined their colleagues in company with their supervisor for a research work and rehearsal at Igogo Ekiti in the Ero LCDA.
However, tragedy struck after their supervisor had concluded the assignment and left Igogo with the team, but the two students reportedly stayed back and headed straight to the dam for sight seeing and to catch some fun as they plunged into the river where they both drowned..
