As encomiums continued to pour in for Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his recent award as the Best Governor in Nigeria on Community development, the Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers has added its voice to the development.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Chairman HRM Oba Ayorinde Ilori Faboro, the Olojudo of Ido kingdom, the monarchs said inter alia “The Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers heartily congratulates His Excellency Mr Biodun Oyebanji on his award as the Governor of the Year in Community Development by the Independent Newspaper on May 3, 2024.
“The Council is very proud this acknowledgment which has come from a reputable media establishment is consistent with the perception of most Ekiti people across the globe, and particularly by all Ekiti royal fathers.
“As a Council, we can attest to the magnitude of your achievements since assuming office and we can bear, unequivocally, that the award is well deserving.
“We are particularly pleased to note that the awards points to your great works in the development of our communities in various ways including provision of power supply to rural communities that had last seen electricity for decades past. “We also acknowledge your numerous achievements in rural and urban roads among others.
“W are pleased with your community participation approach to governance and its overall impact on government policies and projects execution.
