Unprecedented crowd of jubilant residents at major streets in Ado Ekiti metropolis caught the bug of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s Street Connect on Tuesday preparatory to the Christmas day.
The Office of Community Communications, Governor’s Office had a hectic day doing the yeoman’s job of distributing the unexpected and surprise Christmas package from Governor BAO directly to all categories of residents beginning from motor and okada parks to neighborhood markets including Ajowa, Mojere, Eremidale (Nova), Okeyinmi, Okutagbokutalori, and Shasha BAO among others.
According to the DG, Bureau of Community Communications, Mrs Mary Oso-Omotoso, who spearheaded the streets operation, Governor Oyebanji’s wish for Ekiti people this festive season is to ensure that every family can afford basic necessities and have put food on their tables, regardless of their socio-economic status.

“Governor Oyebanji finds true joy in seeing people happy and thriving, which is at the heart of his shared prosperity agenda.
“This Yuletide stands out as one of the best in recent years; no skyrocketing food prices, no fuel scarcity; thanks to the proactive leadership of Governor Oyebanji and the support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
