The Ekiti State House of Assembly has invited the Leadership of all Local Government Councils and Local Government Development Area Councils within the state to appear before the Committee of the Whole House to render an account of stewardship of their respective councils.
The House in a statement by its Chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Hon. Babatunde Oke hinted that the
exercise is scheduled to commence today,Thursday 21st September, 2023, at 10am prompt and it will hold at the Chamber of Assembly in Ado Ekiti.
According to him, all Council and Local Development Areas Chairpersons are expected to attend the hearing in person, accompanied by relevant officials responsible for finance, projects and any other relevant departments in their respective councils
