The Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Adeoye Stephen Aribasoye, has endorsed the Ekiti Mediapreneur Conference, showcasing the unwavering support of the 7th Assembly for the event and its commitment to the development of youth and students of the state.
The endorsement followed a courtesy visit by the Substantial Group, the organizers of the conference, to the office of Speaker Rt. Hon Adeoye Aribasoye.
During the visit, the Substantial Group discussed the objectives and significance of the Ekiti Mediapreneur Conference with Speaker Aribasoye, who enthusiastically embraced the event and acknowledged its potential to empower and motivate young entrepreneurs in the media and technology sectors.
The Substantial Group also met with the assembly’s Majority Leader, Hon Tolu Ige, who warmly embraced the concept behind the Ekiti Mediapreneur Conference.
Hon Ige expressed his full support for the conference, underlining the importance of nurturing and harnessing the talents of young media professionals in Ekiti State.
In addition, the Substantial Group had a productive meeting with renowned youth and student leader, Hon Odebunmi Idowu, who chairs the House of Assembly Committee on Youth and Sport Development. Hon Odebunmi Idowu affirmed the assembly’s readiness to back the state’s youth in their journey toward self-sufficiency.
The primary objective of the Ekiti Mediapreneur Conference is to create a platform for both aspiring and established media entrepreneurs to network, learn from industry experts, and gain valuable insights into the media landscape.
With the endorsement from the Ekiti House of Assembly, the conference is poised to attract a diverse array of participants and foster opportunities for collaboration and growth within the media industry.
The Substantial Group, led by Comrade Benjamin Adekunle Onileowo, extends its heartfelt gratitude to Speaker Aribasoye and the assembly members for their unwavering support and dedication to youth development.
