ANTHONY JOSHUA VISITS TINUBU IN LAGOS

Anthony Joshua, two-time heavyweight boxing champion, visited President Bola Tinubu at his Lagos residence on New Year day.

A post on the Presidency X (Twitter) handle noted that President Tinubu an autographed glove from former World Heavyweight campion.

The post read: “President Bola Tinubu receiving an autographed glove from former World Heavyweight Champion, Anthony Joshua, when he visited the President at his residence in Lagos. January 1, 2025.”

Inscribed on the boxing glove: “To the Great Asiwaju Jagaban Borgu of Africa, Bola A Tinubu.”

Meanwhile, recall that on Monday, December 30, Anthony Joshua visited Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.

At that visit, the governor announced plans by his administration to construct a brand new Anthony Joshua Indoor Boxing Ring.

Governor Abiodun also announced that the two-time former world heavyweight boxing champion would be lighting the Gateway Games National Sports Festival torch, which has been postponed to May next year
