The Alawe of Ilawe Ekiti, HRM, Oba Adebanji Ajibade Alabi, AFUNTADE 1, has congratulated two distinguished sons of Ekiti State Senator Michael Bamidele Opeyemi from Iyin Ekiti and Senator Adeyemi Adaramodu from Ilawe Ekiti for Clinching two important positions in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
Alawe congratulatory message issued today was contained in a statement signed by his Media Adviser, High Chief Ajibade Olubunmi in Ilawe Ekiti.
The statement came on the heels of the recent election of Opeyemi Bamidele as Senate Leader as well as the appointment of Adeyemi Adaramodu as the Chairman , Media and Publicity committee of the Senate .
Oba Alabi noted that the high ranking Ekiti -born politicians have further raised the pedigree of Ekiti people in the rank of Nigerian Lawmakers.
Said he, “Looking at the antecedents of the two senators, the Alawe said Iam confident that your political influence and leadership prowess in the Red Chamber will herald good discourse in the Senate which will contribute to good governance that will invariably affect all Nigerians.”
The monarch noted that the appointments as the Senate Majority Leader and Chairman Committee on Media and Publicity was a big win for Ekiti state .
While rejoicing with the two Senators , the Alawe prayed that God would bestow on them the wisdom and blessings to perform wonderfully in their new assignments to the benefit Ekiti people and Nigerians in general
