The Executive Chairman of Ajoni LCDA Prince Michael Oluwadare Ogungbemi has lauded the Governor of Ekiti, Mr Biodun Oyebanji on the inauguration of the new Traditional Rulers’ Chamber saying the Governor has demonstrated his commitment to recognize and accord the royal father’s their due respect as custodians of tradition and moral values.

He stated this in a chat with our correspondent on Monday.
According to him; “I commend Governor Biodun Oyebanji for this landmark achievement of providing a befitting traditional Rulers’ Chamber for the use of Ekiti royal fathers.
“This by no means was a demonstration of Mr Governor’s recognition of the pivotal role played by our revered monarchs to the peace and stability of the people especially at the grassroots'”

He noted that the role of traditional rulers cannot be overemphasized in the polity because they provide the needed spiritual depth and stabilizing force to government through their sentimental attachment to their subjects in various localities where they hold sway.
“It is my fervent prayer that the newly inaugurated Oba’s complex will open a new channel of robust communication, useful engagement and better understanding among our revered monarchs” he said
