AGRIC ASSOCIATIONS, SOCIETIES IN EKITI APPLAUD OYEBANJI ON FREE ALLOCATION OF FERTILIZERS, MAIZE PALLIATIVES

In what appears a moment of appreciation galores for the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, some notable associations and Societies in Ekiti State have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Governor over the substantial allocation of free fertilizers, palliative and distribution of maize to their members across Ekiti State.

The show of gratitude was contained in an appreciation letter written to the Governor and channelled through the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security .

The Associations Chairmen, Mr Sunday Osanyindoro, Mr Oluwasetemi Alonge, Dr Ebenezer Adebayo who presented the letter
explained that the generous initiative of Governor Oyebanji is a testament to his unwavering commitment to agricultural advancement and empowerment which would have positive effect on the local economy and improve the livelihood of Ekiti residents.

They maintained that the provision of fertilizers, distribution of maize to local farmers are not merely a logistical support but a crucial boost to the members of these association’s productivity and overall farm sustainability in Ekiti State.

The appreciative chairmen stressed that the gesture would enhance soil fertility, crop growth and ensure a more bountiful harvest, improve food security and elevate the economic well being of Ekiti famers.

According to the leaders, the gesture was first of its kind to the Associations, adding that Oyebanji is dedicated to fostering agricultural development and improving the quality of life of farmers in the state .

The letters also echoed that Governor’s leadership style and assistance are invaluable to the Societies and its members are looking forward to continuous collaboration for the betterment of agricultural sector in the state.

The Associations and Societies included Aba Ex-Farmers Cooperative and Multipurpose Society, Ekiti Fishery and Aquaculture Association, Ekiti Poultry Farmers Association and Hausa Community Farmers Association of Ekiti State.
